Cobus Bester was one of the lead male voices for a few of Potchefstroom’s acts during the years he spent at the University, completing his studies in in Pharmacy. It was during this time he developed his skills as a songwriter and sent a recording of a song called “Rollercoaster” to TV station MK. 

The track received unprecedented success for any “demo format” submission when, it was included in top 5 local acts on the channel's "Studio 1" show for six weeks in a row! The industry took notice and Sovereign Entertainment, the record and management company of The Parlotones, signed the band more than 2 years ago. // READ MORE
